Part of On Track, UYMP's Education Volume for Key Stage 4.

The sounds and sensations of a night on the tiles inspired this piece. Thumping, predictable rhythms contrast with slippery, unpredictable rhythms and brief moments of calm. A gentle waltz appears in the middle of the piece only to be trampled underfoot by the returning clubbers.
