David Breslin composes vocal music (mainly for Juice Vocal Trio) and piano music (which he is keeping to himself in the hopes of become a Reclusive Genius). He is currently more active as a singer-songwriter: his first album, "The Trees Are Coming", was released in October 2015, and he runs York Songwriters’ Circle. He plays bass guitar in a punk band, where not knowing how to play bass isn’t too much of a problem.

Born in Southampton, David has an MA in Ethnomusicology from the University of York. He now works there in a strictly blue-collar capacity. He has also written marketing copy, but you have to draw the line somewhere.
