Jo Kondo at the New England Conservatory

This week Jo Kondo is in residence at the Summer Institute for Contemporary Performance Practice (SICPP), held at the New England Conservatory.

As well as working with some of the best composers from Boston and beyond, Kondo will be coaching students in the performance of his music. The following series of concerts will celebrate his music:
Monday June 16th, 8pm, Jordan Hall

Percussion Extravaganza!
Jo Kondo — Pendulums (Nicholas Tolle, percussion)
Jo Kondo — Trio (Moor) for viola, bassoon, and piano
Saturday June 21st, 4pm to 10pm, Brown Hall
Six hours of new music, performed by the faculty and fellows of SICPP, including:

Strands II ( for three pianos)
